The Easy Valentine's Day Treat I Make With My Kids Every Year
A pastel strawberry twist on classic puppy chow: Rice Chex cereal coated in melted white chocolate and pulverized freeze-dried strawberries, shaken in a paper bag with powdered sugar. Difficulty: Super Easy.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips, melted
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, blended into fine powder
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions
Coat cereal in white chocolate
Melt white chocolate chips. Gently fold with Chex cereal and strawberry powder until evenly coated.
Shake in powdered sugar
Transfer coated cereal into a large zip-top bag with powdered sugar. Shake vigorously until completely coated and pink-white.
