  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted & 1 cup brown sugar & 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs & 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour & 1 tsp baking soda & 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • Vanilla bean ice cream for topping

Directions

Whisk cookie dough

Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chunks.

Spread in dish and bake

Spread evenly into a buttered 9x13 or round casserole dish. Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 22–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is soft.

Top with ice cream

Scoop vanilla bean ice cream over warm cookie casserole and serve immediately with spoons.
