A fast homemade take on Emily Mariko's viral salmon rice bowl: warm rice flaked with canned wild salmon, tossed in sriracha and mayo, served with crisp sliced cucumbers and soy sauce. Difficulty: Super Easy.
Ingredients
- 1 can (5 oz) skinless, boneless salmon, drained
- 1 cup warm cooked jasmine or brown rice
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise & 1 tsp sriracha & 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Persian cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 sheet roasted seaweed snack & sesame seeds
Directions
Flake salmon with sauce
In a bowl, mix drained salmon with mayo, sriracha, and soy sauce until creamy.
Assemble over rice
Spoon over warm rice. Arrange cucumber slices on side. Top with sesame seeds and eat with seaweed sheets.
