Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) dark sweet cherries or cherry pie filling
- 1 cup all-purpose flour & 1/2 cup sugar & 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup melted butter & 1/2 cup milk
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Directions
Pour butter and batter
Pour melted butter into a 2-quart baking dish. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk; pour over butter (do not stir).
Spoon cherries on top
Spoon cherries and juices over batter.
Bake until golden
