The Easy Apple Cookies My Whole Family Loves
Breakfast you can hold in your hand! Wholesome rolled oats and sweet grated fresh apples baked into chewy, soft cookies spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Difficulty: Easy.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup grated fresh Honeycrisp apple (with juices)
- 1/2 cup almond butter or melted butter
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup & 1 large egg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon & 1/2 tsp baking soda & pinch of salt
Directions
Stir cookie dough
In a bowl, stir together oats, grated apple, almond butter, maple syrup, egg, cinnamon, and baking soda.
Scoop and bake
Scoop 2-tablespoon mounds onto parchment-lined baking sheet; press down slightly. Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 12β14 minutes.
