Tender cauliflower florets dredged in garlic-seasoned egg and Japanese panko breadcrumbs, baked until shatteringly crisp outside and tender inside. Serve with warm marinara for dunking. Difficulty: Easy.
Ingredients
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
- 2 large eggs, beaten & 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs & 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp Italian herbs, salt and pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping
Directions
Dredge cauliflower florets
Toss florets in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then roll in panko-parmesan mixture until well coated.
Bake until crunchy
Arrange on parchment-lined sheet. Spray with olive oil. Bake at 425Β°F (220Β°C) for 25β30 minutes until golden and crunchy.
