A classic holiday morning tradition: frozen shredded hashbrowns baked into an ultra-cheesy casserole with browned pork sausage, eggs, and a crispy golden top. Difficulty: Easy.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed slightly
- 1 lb pork breakfast sausage, browned and drained
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 large eggs & 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder & 1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
Brown sausage and mix
Brown sausage; drain. Whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, and spices in a large bowl. Fold in hashbrowns, sausage, and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Bake until golden
Spread into greased 9x13 dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 375Β°F for 45β50 minutes until golden and set.
