Hot Dogs with Spicy Kimchi Slaw
These Korean-style hot dogs are your basic grilled beef hot dog in a bun, but with a really special (and simple) spicy kimchi slaw and creamy sauce. The slaw features daikon radish, carrot, and kimchiβa mix that will taste familiar if you've eaten a lot of Korean food like bibimbap!
Ingredients
- 4 all-beef jumbo hot dogs & 4 potato hot dog buns
- 1 cup chopped kimchi & 1/2 cup shredded daikon radish
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise & 1 tbsp gochujang or sriracha
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil & sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
Make kimchi slaw and sauce
Toss chopped kimchi with shredded daikon and sesame oil. Whisk mayo with gochujang.
Grill hot dogs and buns
Grill hot dogs 6-8 minutes until charred and blistered. Lightly toast buns on grates.
Assemble and serve
Tuck hot dogs into buns, drizzle with spicy mayo, and heap spicy kimchi slaw over top.
