Grilled Chicken Satay With Peanut Sauce
Marinated meats grilled over glowing coals, called satays in Southeast Asia, have an irresistible combination of sweetness, heat, acid, and spice that is downright addictive. Recreate a version in your own backyard on your grill.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders, threaded on skewers
- 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter & 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp red curry paste & 1 tbsp lime juice
Directions
Marinate chicken
Toss chicken with soy sauce, brown sugar, turmeric, and cumin.
Whisk peanut sauce
Whisk peanut butter, coconut milk, curry paste, and lime juice in a bowl until smooth.
Grill skewers
Grill chicken skewers for 8-10 minutes over high heat until browned and cooked through.
