This One-Pan Baked Feta Orzo Is Better Than the Viral Original
The viral baked feta pasta gets an upgrade: cooking raw orzo directly in the tomato juices and broth under the slab of melting feta cheese. The starch from the orzo creates a luxuriously creamy sauce without any extra pans.

- 2 pints cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup dry orzo pasta
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced & 1/4 cup olive oil & fresh basil
Directions
Assemble in baking dish
Place feta block in center of baking dish. Scatter dry orzo and cherry tomatoes around it. Pour broth, olive oil, and garlic over orzo.
Bake until tender
Bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 35-40 mins until tomatoes burst and orzo is tender and creamy.
Stir and garnish
Stir hot feta into orzo until creamy. Fold in torn fresh basil.

This has completely replaced my normal avocado toast! The beans blend so well you cannot even tell, and I stay full until lunchtime!
Great trick for adding protein without cooking eggs on busy mornings. Added a pinch of red pepper flakes and lemon zestβdelicious.
