Sweet Hawaiian rolls baked pull-apart style, packed with smoky seasoned beef, barbecue sauce, pickled jalapeΓ±os, crispy bacon, and mountains of melted cheddar. Glazed with melted butter and toasted sesame seeds.
Ingredients
- 1 pack (12 count) King's Hawaiian sweet rolls, halved horizontally
- 1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 1/2 cup sweet barbecue sauce
- 6 strips thick bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar or pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 3 tbsp butter melted with 1/2 tsp garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Brown beef and add sauce
Brown ground beef in a skillet for 6 minutes; stir in barbecue sauce.
Layer rolls in baking dish
Place bottom rolls in a baking dish. Layer with beef, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese. Cap with top rolls.
Butter glaze and bake
Brush tops with garlic butter. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 15 mins, uncover 5 mins until toasted.
